Matthew Blum – Defensive Tackle and Freshman Defensive Coordinator. Daniel Johnson – Freshman Coach. Hometown:Born and raised in Montgomery, Alabama…Roll Tide Service: Joined U.S. Army served six years and did two tours overseas after 9/11. College: Played some college football at Alabama State University and 3 years of semi pro football for the Central Alabama Renegades. Coaching Experience: 10 years. Been coaching football over ten years from Pee-Wee up to High School . Coached in Gahanna for 6 years and now found a great home at Canal Winchester Local Schools teaching and coaching. I really enjoying assisting students athletes develop into not just better athletes but young and successful adults and great. Family: Been with my Wife, Tan Johnson, for 12 years, I have two beautiful children. My son Makhi is 16 yrs. old he attends and runs track for Reynoldsburg High School (Summit Campus). My daughter Alaina is 3 and will soon be participating in dance and gymnastics. I love the challenges of being a father, husband and watching my children grow.
